Developed from over 4,000 annual income statements and balance sheets from hotels and motels across the United States. Information is presented by type, geographic location, rate and size categories and provides detailed analyses of revenues, expenses, and profits.

Mid-Year Trends
Hotel financial performance is compared for the first six months of the current year to the first six months of the prior year. All operating department revenues and expenses, as well as undistributed expenses, are presented on a dollar-per-available-room, dollar-per-occupied-room, and percent-of-revenue basis.

Quarterly Trends
Tracks national occupancies and average daily rates for selected cities across the U.S. and offers an annual forecast of the hospitality industry.

Monthly Trends

Hotel Compensation and Benefits Survey
Survey results are reported by metropolitan area as well as by type of facility, and include approximately 150 hourly jobs and 100 salaried positions. In addition, the benefits portion of the survey provides information on medical, dental, and vision plans as well as employee cost sharing for medical insurance, number of paid time off days based on years of service, and a host of other key benefits.
